Ladies and gentleman,
Introducing one of my favorite reads by far! #1 New York Times Best Seller since June 2008....
“The Shack” by William Paul Young is simply incredible!
The book is best described as a journey of questioning and discovery. I was so blessed by this intelligently written novel that addressed various issues we so often struggle with in our world of pain and suffering.
It is a very engaging book! I was so engrossed even as I started on the first chapter and was so determined to finish it the same day or else cannot sleep!
I particularly loved how the author has such remarkable revelations. It gets you out of a rut delivering beautiful insights from a perspective which we many times fail to see on our own. It’s a must read!

Dear friends, its absolutely worthwhile! So you should look our for it and consider getting a copy! :)
Amongst the many things that really strike me as I was reading through the book, here are some I jotted down to share:
- Pain has a way of clipping our wings and keeping us from being able to fly.
- The past is only for a visit not an extended stay. Where do you spend most of your time in your mind?
- The Great Sadness reduces the range of color down to monotones and flat greys and blacks.
- Just because God work incredible good out of unspeakable tragedies doesn’t mean He orchestrate the tragedies
- Grace doesn’t depend on suffering to exist, but where there is suffering you will find grace in many facets and colors.
- Imagination is a powerful ability. But without wisdom, imagination is a cruel task master
